LSU Manship School
of Mass Communication

At the  Manship School, we don’t just study communication—we live it. Geaux Manship is our platform to chronicle the vibrant experiences of students as they transition from the classroom to the real world of journalism, public relations, strategic communication, and media production. It is where we document the events we attend, the stories we tell, and the hands-on training that shapes our professional journey.

Our students are constantly on the move—covering campus activities, coordinating press coverage, managing live events, and practicing public speaking. Through Geaux Manship, we capture those moments. We film, edit, and produce media content that reflects not only our learning but also our ability to communicate with clarity, purpose, and professionalism.

Each event is a learning lab. From press conferences and campaign launches to panel discussions and field interviews, our students are in the thick of it all—learning how to think on their feet, craft compelling stories, and engage with real audiences. These experiences provide unmatched exposure to the fast-paced world of communication, preparing students to meet industry demands with confidence and skill.

More than anything, Geaux Manship is about preparation. Our mission is to ensure every student graduates with more than a degree—they graduate with a body of work, a sense of professionalism, and the confidence to lead. Whether anchoring student broadcasts, managing digital campaigns, or creating PR strategies, Geaux Manship students leave ready to make an impact.
